This year the annual conference of the Ambient Assisted Living Joint Programme will take place from the 9th to the 12th of September in Bucharest, Romania. At the end of the last years´ AAL-Forum in Sweden Mrs. Ioana Fagarasan of the Romanian Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI) accepted the responsibility of the event organization for 2014. Around 700 AAL community members from all over Europe and beyond are expected to visit this annual platform in order to discuss topics related to the conference motto "Bigger, broader, better - AAL solutions for Europe". MED-Dialogue was presented at Technopark- Casablanca http://technopark.ma/en/presentation/. Many people from the Industry as well as Policy makers had the opportunity to learn about the main aim of the project and its objectives.
ESOF takes place bienially and represents an open platform for debating science aiming to showcase the latest advances in science and technology and promoting a global dialogue on its role in society as well as public policy. Bringing science and technology into the public focus, the 2014 meeting in Copenhagen is entitled "Science Building Bridges". There is a deadline for scientific session proposals until May 9, 2013.
